Understanding Your Solstice Community Solar Credits and Bill
To locate your solar credits on your O&R bill, look to the left-hand side and find the heading that says CDG credit summary. This is where you can see the current month’s solar credits as well as any unused credits that have carried over from prior O&R bills.
The total discount that will be applied to your O&R bill this month can be seen in the field “Total Credit Applied”.
In the example bill above, a $43.08 credit from the solar farm is available this month. This is indicated in the “Current Month Allocated CDG Credits” field.
You can also view your solar credits by looking to the right-hand side of the bill. There you will find a heading that says Billing Summary. Next to “Value Stack Credit” you will see the amount of credits produced by your solar farm for the month.
Again in this example, you will see that $43.08 credits were generated and discounted from the overall cost of electricity for the month. Because of this, the cost of the O&R bill should appear much lower than usual.
At the end of the month, you will receive an invoice detailing how much you will need to pay to Solstice. Remember, you pay Solstice for 90% of your credit’s value. If you received $43.08 of credits on your O&R bill, you will be charged $38.77 by Solstice. You can see this broken down on your invoice below. This means that, for the month, you would see $4.31 of savings on your electricity!
= Dollar amount of the credits on your O&R bill = Amount you owe Solstice with 10% discount = Your savings
